Holiday apartment on a farm in the green heart of the Netherlands

This apartment is on a farm in Polsbroek in the green heart of the Netherlands. It is a detached apartment with its own entrance, in a quiet rural area. Polsbroek is centrally located near historical towns such as Lopik, Schoonhoven, Oudewater, Ijsselstein, Haastrecht and the cities Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Den Haag. Polsbroek is in the south-west of Utrecht province and is one of nine villages in the Lopik municipal area. The apartment offers you a view over polder areas and an orchard and is suitable for nature loves and business people.

The site features an orchard and a rose garden, a terrace and parking spaces for five cars. The terrace has garden furniture, a parasol and two deckchairs, as well as a table for 10 people and a table for 4 people.

The apartment measures around 100m² and is suitable for a maximum of six people. It has its own entrance and ample privacy. It comprises a combined living room and bedroom with a double bed and two single beds, Wi-Fi Internet, satellite TV and a DVD player, a cupboard, a desk, a sofa, two bowl chairs, a coffee table and TV armchair. The sleeping area has two single beds, a child’s bed. The big kitchen-diner is equipped with a microwave, stove and fridge. There is a bathroom with a shower and washbasin.

It is 500 metres to a supermarket and there are many restaurants nearby. It is 12km to a swimming pool and a beach. Trip destinations include Gouda, Schoonhoven, Ijsselstein, Utrecht, Oudewater, Alphen aan de Rijn. The quiet, rural area with a wealth of flora and fauna offers a range of recreational activities. You can go canoeing, fishing, cycling, hiking, swimming, on town tours, visit museums or go bird watching. Information about the region is available. Lopik borders Schoonhoven, Oudewater, Vlist, Montfoort and Ijsselstein. The landscape consists primarily of polder landscape with expanses of meadow, with many groves, orchards, farm trails, church paths. The area is suitable for walkers, cyclists and all those who love nature and peace and quiet. In winter you can go ice skating.

Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV are available. A farmer’s breakfast can be served on request in the conservatory, with regional and organic products. Lunch packets are also possible.
