Wellness holiday house with a sauna and a fireplace stove, as well as a car port and a terrace

The house is opposite the houses Kiek-Wiet and Wiesenblock Fenja, in an absolutely quiet residential area (cul-de-sac). The house is in Grimersum, about 5km from Greetsiel.

The property has two car parking spaces and a car port. Garden furniture and a grill are kept in the garden shed. Enjoy sunbathing or leisurely grill evenings on the south-facing terrace.

It provides four bedrooms (one of which is on the ground floor) and two shower rooms, for eight people (ideal also for two families). The sauna and the fireplace stove invite you to enjoy a holiday even outside of the summer season. The lovely wooden ceiling beams and the maritime décor give the house a special character. The generous living and dining room on the ground floor has big doors opening onto the south-facing terrace. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher etc. The directly adjoining storage room has a washing machine and dryer. The ground -floor bathroom provides a shower, WC, bidet and sauna. One of the bedrooms with a double bed is on the ground floor, suitable e.g. for grandparents. The other three bedrooms are on the upper floor. One has a double bed, the other two each have two single beds. There is also an additional shower room. The wireless Internet access only has a maximum UMTS speed.

The boat harbour is just 40 metres away. The canal there has connections to Greetsiel and Emden, in summer by (paddle) boat, in winter sometimes on skates. There is a lovely public playground a short walk away, so children could even go there by themselves. There are shops and a restaurant about 3km away.

    Der Griff der Haustür ließ sich herausziehen, der Außengrill war nicht mehr zu benutzen (Beine abgebrochen)
    Die Mängel wurden am ersten Tag bekanntgegeben aber nicht behoben.”

    Pro:
    Ein sehr angenehmes Ferienhaus für 4 Paare mit genügend Service!
    Alles war sauber und komfortabel.
    Es liegt recht günstig und hat in alle Richtungen (Norden, Leer, Aurich, Emden) etwa die gleiche Entfernung.
    Sehr nette Kontaktperson die jederzeit erreichbar ist!
    Sehr gerne wieder!!!!!!.

    Contra:
    Der Fernsehempfang und das Internet könnten besser sein (falls man nicht verzichten kann).”

    “Positiv: Großes geräumiges Haus zum erholen für mehre Personen geeignet.
    Schöner Kamin und die Sauna rundet das ganze ab.
    Sehr sauber und gepflegte Unterkunft. Freizeit: Von Grimmersum aus nach Greetsiel ist ein katzen Sprung, dort ist ein schöner kleiner alter Fischerhafen.
    Zum Norddeich würde ich niemanden hinlotsen es sei den er muss mit der Fähre fahren.......die komplette Promenade aus Beton und Asphalt kein schöner Anblick.....schade um die Natur.
    Ansonsten kann man rund um Ostfriesland vieles erleben aber man sollte schon mobil sein.”
