The fabulous, quiet location on the edge of the Baltic Sea town of Göhren promises a relaxing and restorative holiday. Right behind the houses the rolling hilly landscape, so typical of the Mönchgut peninsula, opens up, with lush, green sheep pastures. Right behind it stretches the deep blue Baltic Sea. The picturesque white villa with its idyllic balconies and terraces with a sea view, as well as quaint ornamental features, in a modern seaside architecture style, offers an inviting home for the most enjoyable days in the year. Here you can find an oasis surrounded by greenery. It is an exclusive holiday home in a picturesque location for a fabulous holiday. The four-star apartment for three people features luxurious furnishing in solid beech and alder wood. The living room has a double sofa bed, cable TV and a stereo system with a CD player, as well as an open, built-in kitchen with a dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and a separate dining space. The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and WC.

The roofed, east-facing balcony is ideal for having breakfast, while the generous south-facing terrace promises relaxing holiday hours with a fabulous view. You can look out from the terrace over the lush, green, hilly landscape as far as the deep blue Baltic Sea. The apartment has a parking space and a roofed bicycle parking space. You can use two bicycles free of charge. Wireless Internet access is available. In the basement of the villa there is the in-house sauna with a relaxation room (payable). The house also offers a range of other amenities such as a table tennis room, a little children’s playground, a coin-operated washing machine and dryer etc.

Use of the Ahoi leisure pool in Sellin for 3 hours daily is included in the price of your stay during opening hours. You can enjoy swimming there even during the colder season.

The unique Rügen landscape is right behind the house. It is just a three-minute walk to the town centre and the southern beach, and a five-minute walk to the north beach. The picturesque Baltic Sea town is on the beautiful Mönchgut peninsula, on a spit of land jutting far out into the sea, the Göhrener Höft. The special flair of Göhren, on an elevation right by the coast, offers an ideal setting for your dream holiday. Two golden yellow and very clean sandy beaches, each about six kilometres long, as well as many cafés, restaurants and shopping facilities, and the carefully restored and newly built villas with intricate seaside architecture, make Göhren one of the most popular holiday destinations on the sunny island of Rügen. The completely car-free town is an ideal starting point for a seaside holiday, as well as for trips and walks. The varied landscape of the Mönchgut opens up right on the doorstep, providing a perfect backdrop for excursions. Nestled into the Südost-Rügen biosphere reserve, Mönchgut is considered by many to be the most beautiful part of the island. The wide landscape framed by the deep blue Baltic Sea is criss-crossed by tranquil bodden waters and sprinkled with little elevations, as well as bizarre spits of land such as the Reddevitzer Höft. Small harbours in Seedorf and Gager will entice you with their maritime flair and many sailing and fishing boats. Freshly caught Baltic Sea fish is always available here. To the north of Mönchgut there is Granitz with an old forest, a bizarre steep coast and the fairytale castle with a big look-out tower. Starting from Göhren, some of the other Rügen highlights are best explored by boat, such as the chalk cliffs, Kap Arkona, the seaside towns of Sellin and Binz, as well as the island of Hiddensee. Leisure boats dock regularly by the Seebrücke in Göhren, where there is also the beautiful Kurpark with water features, a Kneipp basin and the “Kurmuschel” bandstand, where concerts are held regularly during the summer months. The Bernstein promenade also starts in the Kurpark, stretching along the Göhren north beach past Baabe as far as Sellin. Near the Bernstein promenade there is the final station of the Rasender Roland, the historical narrow-gauge railway with a steam engine. You can go on a leisurely ride with it to explore many of the sights and enjoy the flair of past times. On the stretch between Göhren, Sellin, Binz, Putbus and Lauterbach you will experience pure railway romance and can enjoy the beautiful landscape along the stretch of about 27km. It is recommended to spend several weeks here to explore this island in all its beauty.     “Die Beschreibung im Internet war Irreführend. Die Größe der Wohnung für zwei Erwachsene ausreichend, für drei Erwachsene zu klein, für zwei Erwachsene mit Kind grenzwertig. So schön Rügen auch ist, in dieses Ferienhaus fahren wir nicht wieder hin. Positiv: Ordentliche Lage, sehr ruhig, guter Zugang zur Terrasse Negativ: Die Lage des Hauses ist in Ordnung, aber 4 Gehminuten zum Strand stimmen nicht. In 4 Minuten schafft man es gerade bis in die nächste Kneipe und da muß man schon gut zu Fuß sein. Der Parkplatz vor dem Haus ist zwar vorhanden, aber recht klein. Ich habe den Nachbarn gebeten sein Auto etwa umzuparken, damit wir beide in unsere Autos einsteigen konnten. Für einen Trabant aber ausreichend. In der Wohnung hatten wir einen recht großen Flur, dafür war das Badezimmer sehr eng. Auch das Schlafzimmer war gerade so ausreichend groß. Die Küche war so gebaut das der Eßtisch maximal im Wege stand. Zum Glück war das Wohnzimmer groß genug um den Tisch beiseitestellen zu können. Polster für die Gartenstühle, wie bei unseren Nachbarn, wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Die Sauna war im Keller vorhanden, aber den Innenpool habe ich vergeblich gesucht. Die Nachbarn haben ihn auch nicht gefunden. Ich hatte die Wohnung mit Wäschepaket gebucht. Das sollte laut Reisevertrag 34,00 Euro kosten. In der Wohnung habe ich bei der Ankunft eine Quittung für das Wäschepaket gefunden in der ich aufgefordert wurde bei der Abreise 85,00 Euro in bar zu hinterlassen. Habe ich nicht gemacht. Nach der Reise bekam ich per Mail die Aufforderung für das Wäschepaket 30,00 Euro zu überweisen. Das habe ich gemacht. Da wollte sich wohl die Putzkolonne ein extra Trinkgeld sichern.”

    “Es war alles sehr schön; ordentlich und sauber. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Eine schöne Wochendwohnung; aufgeräumt und funktionell. Das Ambiente innen wie außen ist sehr schön. Die persönliche Betreuung war leider gleich null.. Nichts desto trotz war es wirklich schön. Eine persönliche Übernahme und Übergabe wäre allerdings wünschenswert gewesen. Guten Rutsch!”
