Spanish style villa in fenced grounds with large swimming pool, surrounded by orange groves

This villa set amid orange plantations is located in the district of Oliva-Playa, about a five minute car drive from Oliva town centre. The beach is also only 800 metres away. The villa offers you the perfect location for a relaxing summer holiday, or for over wintering in the Costa del Azahar’s mild climate.

The villa is set in 2000m² fenced grounds, shielded from onlookers. The beautifully arranged gardens are designed with a love for detail. Here you find the outdoor bathroom and a small laundry room with a washing machine and clothes dryer. There a no neighbours on either three sides of the premises so that you can enjoy your summer holiday by the pool shielded from nosy onlookers. The entire pool area is tiled and equipped with floor lighting. The pool with a surface area of 10m x 5m offers a comfortable access from a Roman staircase. Large palm trees ensure that you are protected from wind during the day and also at night. There really is nothing to prevent you from enjoying a romantic swim at night under Spain’s starlit skies.

The villa’s interior is held in the Mediterranean style. Ceiling fans provide great ventilation and distribute the necessary cool air. All windows are equipped with mosquito nets and if you want you can use the exterior blinds to close the windows and keep your villa nice and cool. During the winter months, carpets provide warmth and comfort in the villa with fully tile flooring. Additionally, the villa boasts air conditioning and heating in the dining-/living area and in the master bedroom which is furnished with a double bed. The master bedroom has its own dressing room, two chests of drawers and four door wardrobe. There is a second bedroom with two beds, and the third bedroom has one bed. If required, the couch in the living room can be converted into a guest bed, offering an additional two sleeping spaces. The big American kitchen is fully equipped, including: fridge freezer combination, gas cooker and oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and a complete set of pans, cutlery, pots and crockery. Next to the kitchen you find the living area with six seater dining table. The living room is furnished with a comfortable extendable corner couch, a wood fireplace to maintain a cosy room temperature during the winter months, satellite television and stereo. The villa has two bathrooms. One adjacent to the bedrooms is equipped with bathtub and shower facility. The second is an outdoor bathroom (large shower, wash basin, toilet) which is accessible via the arcade terrace and particularly during the summer months offers a great alternative to the indoor bathroom. Both bathrooms are equipped with fan heaters for temperature control. During the summer months and the midday hours in winter, the arcade terrace serves as the main living area. This large covered terrace kept in classic Spanish style enjoys stunning views across the pool area and fruit trees. The grill fireplace, which in summer can be used as an outdoor kitchen, ensures cosy moments under the Spanish sun. The villa also boasts a large roof terrace that is accessible via an outside staircase and features a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding area. Here, the only thing that can disturb your peace is birds singing.

In this region, the average temperature does not drop below 20°C on more than 230 a year. Oliva Playa’s golden beaches are only 800 metres away from the villa and invite you to enjoy sunbathing and swimming during the summer months. In winter, the beach is great for longs walks, heading north to Gandia and to Denia in the south. In the immediate vicinity and in Oliva town you find bars, restaurants, cafes and traditional Spanish pubs. Oliva is a lively place year-round. This is not your typical tourist town suffering large hotel complexes, crowded beaches and mass tourism (with all its negative impacts) – you won’t find any of this here. Yet there are various shopping centres in the vicinity which leave nothing to be desired. Oliva is surrounded by flat land which makes it a good place for cycling. Oliva itself and the nearby Oliva Nova have all kinds of water sports on offer. It is also a true paradise for golf enthusiasts: the famous Oliva Nova golf resort is a tourist centre boasting bars, restaurants, water sports and a fantastic golf course. The villa is only approx. a ten minute car drive away from the golf course, making it a perfect place for golfers who want to stay in a place away from the hustle and bustle of the golf resort. Gandia offers convenient train connections to the nearby Valencia, the metropolis that should definitely be on your travel itinerary.The villa is also available for long term rentals during the winter months with a large discount for a four week minimum rental.     “La maison est très confortable et le jardin avec la piscine est grandiose!! Le quartier est calme, à 10mn de marche de la première plage. Sinon il y a beaucoup de stations balnéaires pas loin, Cullera, Denia, Gandia..et bien sûr Valencia à 1h environ, très facile d 'accès par l'autoroute.
    Mickaela est très réactive au moindre problème. Attention pour les enfants en bas âge car il n'y a pas de protection autour de la piscine.

    “Vieles entspricht nicht mehr der Beschreibung, und den Fotos.
    Vieles ist kaputt, z.B. Beleuchtung des Fußbodens um den Pool, ist nicht in Betrieb zu nehmen. Auch die Poolbeleuchtung im Wasser ist defekt. Liegen sind während unseres Aufenthaltes, zwei neue gekommen.
    Auch von der Ruhe die in der Beschreibung die Rede war, keine Spur. Täglich lief auf dem Nachbargrundstück, direkt nebenan vom Pool, irgendein Generator, so um die 6-8 Stunden pro Tag. Die Vermieterin darauf angesprochen, kam die Antwort "besser als jemanden nebenan, der mir ständig auf den Teller schauen kann, oder man meine Gespräche mit meinem Partner hören kann".”

    “1) Da laufend Renovationen, Umbauten, Erneuerungen gemacht werden, kann es sicherlich vorkommen das das eine oder andere nicht genau beschrieben ist. Hier handelt es sich nicht um "Verschlechterungen", sondern "Verbesserungen"..
    2) Beleuchtungsspots, die in den Fliesenboden rund um das Pool installiert sind, sind vom Strom genommen worden, da immer wieder die Sicherung ausgelöst wurde. Dies war eine Sicherheitsmaßnahme: Um die Spots zu entfernen, wäre eine Neubefliesung des gesamten Pool, Terrassen und Sitzbereiches nötig. Als Alternative gibt es diverse Solarbeleuchtungen rund um das Pool und den Sitzbereich die alternativ ein gemütliches Ambiente am Abend schaffen.
    3) Poolbeleuchtung defekt: eine Glühbirne brennt durch, das ist normal, hier muss das nur gemeldet werden und die Birne wird getauscht.
    4) Der angesprochene Generator versorgt die Orangenplantage mit Wasser. Im Hochsommer ist dies unumgänglich und ist üblich für diese Gegend, Das Empfinden ist subjektiv und ich bedaure, dass mein Gast sich so dermaßen dadurch gestört fühlte. Der Vergleich war "ironisch" gemeint und ich denke man versteht was ich gemeint habe, denn in der Hausbeschreibung steht: .... Orangenbäume sind ihre Nachbarn."”

    “De woning is ruim, en de tuin zalig, met een mooi zwembad en voldoende privacy.
    Enkel was het huis zelf binnen niet echt proper, wat eigenlijk wel jammer is. We hadden handdoek pakketten genomen, en er was enkel 1 grote + 1 kleine handdoek voorzien per persoon. Naar onze mening is dit zeker te weinig.
