Do you want to enjoy a lovely family villa in the ancient city of Osor, the anti-stress oasis of the islands Cres and Lošinj, one of the most beautiful parts of Adriatic Sea in Croatia? Then this is the right place for you.

The furnished terrace with a parasol and the large garden provide plenty of peace and quiet. You can relax in the shade of the old pine trees on a hammock, looking out at the bay and the sailing boats passing nearby. The brick-built barbecue next to the terrace is available for cosy grill evenings. On the other side of the road there is a free public car park with space for about 50 cars.

The villa has a living area of approximately 130 m2 and 660 m2 of garden area. An antique wall originating from the Venetian era (height of about 3,5 m) forms the eastern boundary courtyard and is a part of the city walls, while the southern border is an antic wall from Roman era which is also a part of city walls. With regard to the walls, vegetation and its location, the property offers a great privacy. You can enjoy the shade of the old pine trees, watch the bay and the sail boats just few meters away, or you can just walk to the beach which is only 250 meters away. The renovated villa can accommodate nine people. It consists of a kitchen, living room, bedroom, hallway and bathroom on the ground floor and two bedrooms, a bathroom and a hallway on the upper floor. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a hob, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and ice maker machine. The living room has a dining and a sitting area. Wood for the fireplace is provided free of charge. The first bedroom has a king's size bed (160 x 200cm). The second bedroom has king's size bed (160 x 200cm). The third has double bed (180x200cm), sofa bed for 2 persons (160x200cm) and extra bed. In addition, a cot is also available. The two modern bathrooms have a shower and toilet. All the rooms in the villa can be heated and air conditioned. There is a free wireless high speed internet connection.

If you like to hike there is the mountain Osorčica with the highest peak of 588 meters. Osor also offers you the possibility to hunt wild boar, deers, woodcock and wild pigeons. The interesting thing about the hunting ground is that there isn't a closed season for wild boar throughout the year. Another interesting fact is that once the islands Cres and Lošinj were actually one island named Lošinj, before Osor channel was dug. Nowdays Osor lies at channel that separates islands Cres and Lošinj. Islands are connected with a rotating bridge. The channel was build by Romans to make sailing possible through the channel. Osor is an open-air museum where you can find ancient town square surrounded by beautiful buildings from XV and XVI centuries, Bishop's palace, cathedral and bell tower from the early Christian era. Through the town you can encounter many sculptures left behind by the great croatian artist Ivan Meštrović. During the summer months the town becomes open-air stage for Osor Musical Event, which has been held every year in the summer since 1976. Beautiful nature and peaceful environment are granted all the time.

If you feel like it, you can walk spontaneously to the beach. It is just 250 metres away. To the right of the property there is a yacht harbour with moorings for sailing boats and larger speedboats. It is 200 metres to the nearest grocery shop. It is a 25km drive to the nearest supermarket in the town Mali Losinj. If you enjoy being active in nature, you can hike on the Osorscica mountain 588 metres high. Osor also provides the opportunity to hunt deer and wild boar. During the summer months, the town becomes and open-air stage for a range of musical events that have been held every year since 1976.

    “Das Haus ist zu 100% empfehlenswert! Lage ist spitze und der Ort klein ruhig und für Menschen die Erholung suchen genau das richtige! Positiv: Das Haus war super! Genug Platz für 2 Familien und 2 Hunde. Der Vermieter hatte viele gute Tipps bezüglich Aktivitäten und Restaurantemofehlungen und war bei allen Fragen sehr bemüht, antwortete rasch und hilfreich um unseren Aufenthalt so schön und erholsam als möglich zu machen. Negativ: Die Abwicklung über E Domizil. Mir ist klar dass zu Zeiten von covid 19 viele Anfragen waren aber vor unserem Urlaub wurden weder telefonisch noch per Mail Anfragen beantwortet. Als es während unseres Aufenthalts zur Reisewarnung kam wurde mir bei einem Anruf mitgeteilt dass man derzeit nichts für uns tun kann. Wir würden bei einer vorzeitigen Abreise auf unseren Kosten sitzen bleiben, könnten aber ein Mail schicken und auf eine Kulanzlösung hoffen oder eine Lösung direkt mit dem Vermieter verhandeln obwohl wir ja über E Domizil gebucht hatten. Das Service von edomizil wirkte nicht kundenorientiert und ich werde sicher nur mehr direkt beim Vermieter anfragen und nicht den Umweg über eine Agentur nehmen von der ich keinen Vorteil hätte.”

    “What a wonderful place and what wonderful hosts were Ivica, Lidjia, Sven and Branco. Villa Antiqua is beautiful, atmospheric and utterly peaceful - and in such a lovely position in the gorgeous town of Osor and by the sea - perfect! The house is lovely with a rustic air and lovely large flower and butterfly filled garden; it is also very comfortable with all modern amenities, lovely linens and the best equipped kitchen imaginable. The bar-b-que is a lovely traditional stone one with its own pika as well. Ivec and his family were available at all times to offer help and when we needed them to offered help instantly. We would love to return to this 7 star heaven.”
