In total the farmhouse has 1000m² of interior space. It was fully renovated in the year 2000 with careful and conservative modernisation work. The old manor area is still used as a private house by the owners. Part of the main house is also used as an office. The family-run tourism agency takes care of booking and arranging trips and tourist services at Lake Garda.

The old country house is in the inland area of Lake Garda in a green landscape. The Lugana grape is cultivated here and you can enjoy the unique experience of life in the country, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the gentle and relaxing breeze from Lake Garda. The tourist centres of Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda are a short distance away. You can recharge your batteries in the vastness of the lush vineyards and olive groves, so you can return to your everyday life with new energy.

From the living room and the kitchen you have direct access to the terrace of around 70m², which has a grill area, deckchairs and a big garden table. In the garden in front of the kitchen there is the pool for the exclusive use of guests, with a sun lounging lawn, deckchairs, parasols and an outdoor shower. There is also a special place here right by the big kitchen, so that pets can be indoors especially at night, as they are not allowed to sleep in the bedrooms. The park-like garden of around 2000m² lies all around the farmhouse, comprising pine, cherry, peach and olive trees, and is enclosed by high laurel hedges and a metal fence. Next to the garden you can see some of the vineyards where Lugana wine is produced. The automatic entrance gate opens onto a big, private parking area for up to ten cars. From the parking area it is just a few steps to the main entrance to the farmhouse, which you share with the owners. The shared entrance area has an adjoining room that is used as a wine shop, where you can buy local wines and products or book tourist services and trips, as well as obtain information. The property has a history spanning nearly 110 years. It was built in 1907 as a farmhouse belonging to a tobacco cultivation enterprise. At that time the cultivation and processing of pipe tobacco were an important branch of the economy at Lake Garda. The cultivation benefitted from the ideal climate all year round and the fertile soil. From the year 1970 the fields were then used more for cultivating wine grapes. The Lugana wine of a high quality standard is cultivated by the owners. The area is very quiet, and although it is amidst nature it is close to the town centres, supermarkets and petrol stations. In the vicinity there are also many restaurants and trattorias with local cuisine. You can go on long walks in nature and cycle along safe trails. Lake Garda just a stone’s throw away provides unique and unforgettable moments. The convenient location enables you to visit the many tourist destinations on the shores of Lake Garda, such as Sirmione, Desenzano and Peschiera del Garda, or to go on a trip to leisure parks and shopping centres such as Gardaland, Zoopark Natura Viva, Caneva World, Movie Studios, Parco Sigurtà, Terme di Sirmione, Colà and Pescantina, all within a couple of minutes by car. The location of the country house is also ideal for getting to the neighbouring provinces of Brescia, Verona and Mantua, with their famous historical centres and works of art. There is an agreement with a sports centre, where you can use the swimming pools, boccia alleys, tennis, beach volleyball and football grounds at a preferential price. It also has a restaurant/pizzeria and bicycle/motorbike hire. The facilities are just 2km away. The restaurant has special lunchtime and evening menus at advantageous prices.

The annex of around 500m², which used to be used to process tobacco, is let out. It was converted into holiday accommodation on two floors in 2012. When decorating the rooms, attention was paid to creating elegant surfaces. At the same time, they are furnished functionally, comfortably and warmly, to ensure a pleasant stay for couples and families. Each bedroom enjoys absolute privacy and has a private bathroom, a perfect combination of country style and comfort. The country style and preserved originality of the house were not at the expense of comfort and hospitality. The six double bedrooms are have light and comfortable furnishing. The first bedroom is on the ground floor, which is a double bedroom with its own bathroom with a shower, suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs and also suitable for the disabled. Following on from the shared entrance, there are stairs up to the first floor, where there are the other five double bedrooms. They are connected by a hallway. Each bedroom measures around 45m² and provides built-in cupboards, bedside tables, air conditioning, satellite TV, a minibar and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. The bedrooms also enjoy a unique view of the vineyards. The double beds measure 160 x 190cm, the single beds 80 x 190cm. Bed linen and hand towels are changed every ten days. On the ground floor a big living room of around 50m² awaits you with two sofas, tables and a dresser, as well as a sixth bathroom with a shower. The kitchen-diner of around 60m² is also on this floor, fully-furnished and equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, crockery, a kitchen fireplace and satellite TV. Up to 16 people can eat together at a big table. In the laundry room nearby you can find a washing machine, a dishwasher, an iron and an ironing board. You can use the wireless Internet connection free of charge throughout the property. All the rooms have heating, while it is only the bedrooms that have air conditioning. Pets are allowed on request, but should only be kept outdoors. If they are let into the house then the pet deposit for additional final cleaning is not returned.

    “Es ist ein schönes, großes Haus, mit großzügigen Schlafzimmern, jedes mit eigenem Bad.
    Das Haus liegt zwar inmitten der Weinfelder, aber durch die nahe Autobahn (200m), die am Haus vorbeiführende Hauptstraße nach Pozzolengo und die nahe Bahnverbindung ist die Lage des Hauses sehr geräuschvoll. Insbesondere in der Nacht hört man die Autobahn sehr gut.
    Der große Garten, die überdachte Terrasse und auch die Wohnküche sind ideal für viele Personen.
    Den Wohnraum haben wir nicht benutzt, er ist ungemütlich, hier stehen lediglich vier abgenutzte Sofas.
    Von der Pflege des Außenbereichs waren wir enttäuscht. Die Liegen, die Gartenmöbel sowie den Grillplatz mussten wir noch sauber machen.
    Insgesamt empfanden wir es etwas lieblos eingerichtet, z.B. fehlen Weingläser.
    Wir waren 8 Personen, hatten aber für 11 Personen gebucht und hatten aufgrund der Größe des Hauses und des sehr schönen Wetters einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.
    Der Vermieter, Sebin, wohnt mit seiner Familie im Haus und war sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit.”

    “hello renate. maybe you live up in the mountains where silence is everywhere and no train or car is moving. we are set at gardalake (25 million tourists every year) in the countryside but just 1 km from major villages like sirmione and peschiera. cars and trains are normal facts. if you want silence i dont think you can find it at garda lake in general apart from monte baldo. Moreover your rental section of our country house is on the other side of the highway, totally on the other side, and i am sure you cannot even hear a car from there, but only when you park the car in the parking place on the road side. For any other need if we knew we were coming to assist you anytime. ciao ciao, thanks for being our guests.”

    “Das Objekt ist wunderschön. Ausstattung reicht völlig aus und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wurden bei der Adresse "Schlüsselübergabe" abgeholt vom Vermieter und zum Haus gebracht. Alles reibungslos ohne Probleme. Es ist nur wichtig, die Ankunftszeit vorher per E-mail zu schicken, da der angegebene Ort zur Schlüsselübergabe von atraveo nicht korrekt ist. Werde mir die Adresse merken und in ein Paar Jahren wieder dort Urlaub machen.”
