The little medieval town of Sansepolcro, on the Tuscan side of the Tiber valley, is a place full of art, culture and history. This was the setting for the idea of an agriturismo at the heart of nature. La Conca is a large holiday farm with an active agricultural enterprise and a close connection to the surrounding nature. The estate has about 300 hectares of forest and meadows, where fallow deer, moufflons, deer and horses live and roam freely.

Your accommodation is in old stone farmhouses, which have been carefully restored and furnished with rustic furniture. They each have a cosy fireplace. On site there are also a large taverna and a private chapel. You have free access to the large plot of land with its stretches of forest and meadows. There are many leisure options, such as swimming pools, riding, archery or boccia. You can also go on guided hikes, riding excursions or mountain biking tours. The area is ideal for observing and photographing wild animals or gathering mushrooms, chestnuts and other forest fruits. The quiet and green surroundings and the variety of flora and fauna, and not least the impressive views of the landscape, form part of a special holiday experience.

In the outdoor areas near the houses there are pools, as well as barbecue areas for dining outdoors, a wood-burning oven for pizza lovers, boccia alleys for relaxing afternoons with friends, as well as play equipment for children. Local walks are organised for nature lovers. You can observe many wild animals from platforms: fallow deer, moufflons, deer, wild boar, porcupines, badgers, foxes, squirrels and a wide array of birds. During the appropriate seasons, you can also gather mushrooms, chestnuts and other forest fruits. The owners live in one of the farmhouses opposite “Casale La Conca”, where there is also the reception.

The special geographical location of Sansepolcro, bordering four Italian regions, makes it easy to get to countless art and culture cities: Arezzo, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Perugia, Gubbio, Urbino and the city state of San Marino. There are also the charms of the upper Tiber valley itself, with its wonderful nature and its countless art and culture sites, as well as a rich gastronomy. Holiday villa on an agriturismo, with a heated outdoor pool for adults and children, its own wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, fitness room, Jacuzzi, and a wonderful shared garden

The villa of 500m² was extensively restored, renovated and newly furnished in 2015 and is on an agriturismo on a picturesque hill at 400 metres above sea level, just a kilometre from Sansepolcro.

Outside the house there is also ample space to dine together on the big, roofed terrace with a view of the valley. The original bread and pizza baking oven and a grill area are ideal for preparing meals outdoors. The sun terrace and the private pool invite you to relax. It is hetable, is suitable for both adults and children, and has an outdoor shower. Cars and buses can be parked on site.

The rustic living and dining room has a big dining table for 14 people and several small tables for 3 people, providing ample space for all guests to dine together. There is a sideboard with a dispenser providing fresh spring water. You can enjoy sociable evening hours by the open fireplace or in the TV corner with satellite TV, a DVD player and two leather sofas. The big and modern stainless steel kitchen fulfils professional standards, with a fridge, freezer compartment, electric oven, large dishwasher, tableware and cookware. The relaxation area comprises a total of nine bedrooms, with five two-bed rooms, three three-bed rooms and a four-bed room, accommodating up to 23 people. Two cots and a highchair can be provided free of charge. One of the bedrooms is wheelchair-accessible. There are eight modern bathrooms, all with a shower, washbasin, WC and bidet. The villa also has its own wellness area with fitness equipment, a massage room, a sauna, a steam bath and a shower, as well as separate changing cubicles for men and women. The big panoramic window affords a fantastic view of the surrounding hills of the Tuscan landscape, while you relax in the whirlpool for 12 people.

The location of the house amidst greenery provides many opportunities for leisure activities in nature. It is just 50 metres to a private fishing lake and a 2-kilometre walk to the forest and meadow site of the 300-hectare agriturismo, with many paths for walking and Nordic walking, shelters for observing wild animals and birds, a treehouse and a hut. Here you can find peace and quiet and absolute privacy, with unforgettable views of the landscape. You can also go on riding excursions, try archery or go on jeep tours. Bicycles can be hired locally.
