Rustic stone house in the countryside with its own pool and a taverna with a fireplace
The traditional stone house is in the little village of Bašići, about 16km from Porec.
Owing to the traditional building style with quarry stone and oak beams, the holiday house exudes a very special atmosphere and provides a mixture of tradition, comfort and luxury. It was renovated in 2011 and consists of a house and a so-called taverna. The house has two floors and can accommodate a maximum of four adults. A cot is also available. The ground floor has a living room with a sofa, armchairs, a kitchen unit, a dining space, and a separate toilet. The upper floor has two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160 x 200cm and 140 x 200cm), a bathroom with a bath and a shower. All the rooms have heating. The living room, the kitchen and the upper hallway have air conditioning units, so all rooms can be pleasantly cooled. Bed linen, towels and wireless Internet access are provided free of charge. The outdoor area provides access to the private taverna, which has a fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy dining table for eight people and an open fireplace.
The living room has an adjoining roofed terrace outside with a table and chairs. Right next to it there is a big brick-built grill for cosy barbecue evenings. A couple of steps further there is the private pool (8 x 4m), with loungers, and a little garden with flowers and a lawn (automatic sprinkler system). The whole outdoor area is surrounded by a stone wall. In front of the house, right by the entrance, there are two private parking spaces.
There are grocery shops and restaurants 2km away, or a two-minute drive. Porec about 16km away has a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops. This popular Istrian coastl town is rich in history, art and culture.
