    “Einkaufsmöglichkeit in kurzer Wegstrecke zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Einkaufsladen mit freundlicher Bedienung, welche einem auch mal den Einkauf in den Wagen trägt.
    Ein kleines Lokal an der Seilbahn ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Am Strand wohin die Seilbahn führt ist auch eine Gastronomie wo man gut essen kann. Zu Fuß sollte man den Rückweg besser mit der Seilbahn nehmen. Wer Sandstrand sucht muss ca. 20 min fahren.
    In jedem Fall braucht man auf Madeira ein Auto, aufgrund der teilweise extremen Steigungen sollte es ausreichend PS haben. Bei unter 70PS hätte man schieben müssen...”

    “There is a small supermarket @10mins walking distance for your basic needs. Within the same distance there are at least 5 restaurants of different variaty. Also an activity center for diving, canyoning, kayak and other excursion is within 10mins walking distance.
    A larger supermarkt is @10mins driving distance.
    We do advise to rent a car to get to funchal and other places with ease. The home offers a garage so you will not have any problems parking.”
