    “Ceglie ist schnell erreichbar; gleich am Ortseingang befindet sich ein Supermarkt. Die Altstadt ist wunderschön und hat eine tolle Piazza. Es gibt mehrere Bars und jede Menge Restaurants, Trattorien und Osterien in jeder Preislage. Man kann Unmengen Antipasti für wenig Geld bekommen; alles frisch und mit großer Freundlichkeit serviert.
    In der Umgebung ist viel zu sehen; mehrere "weiße" Städte wie Ostuni, Martina Franca, Cisternino. Die Adria ist nicht weit, auch Lecce im Süden, Taranto im Südwesten und Bari im Nordosten sind erreichbar.
    Die Gegend ist zum Fahrradfahren geeignet.”
