    “Der Ort hat einen Bahnhof, wo die Erzgebirgsbahn endet und die Fichtelbergbahn beginnt. Es gibt einen Einkaufsladen und auch Gastronomie, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben, da wir das Erzgebirge erkundeten. Für den Einstieg am Anreisetag (Samstag) war ein Auffüllen der mitgebrachten Dinge im örtlichen Laden problemlos möglich. Es gibt hübsche Wanderziele in der näheren Umgebung und auch kleine regionale Sehenswürdigkeiten im Ort. Man kann hier relaxen oder sich aktiv erholen. Wir waren meist mit dem Auto unterwegs.”
