    “Diez is een leuke plaats, maar op zich is er om deze tijd weinig te doen. Gelukkig ligt Limburg er bijna aan vast, daar is vertier genoeg.”

    “Diez is nice for a stroll and you we would have loved to have more time to explore the nature with all it’s trails.
    In a very short driving distance you can find some really nice shops, cafés and restaurants in Limburg.
    We really enjoyed a great dinner in a very special atmosphere: ‚Himmel und Erde‘ - a restaurant built in a chapel.”

    “Diez is een heel gezellig stadje met een middeleeuws gedeelte o.a. een Gravenburcht, hoog gelegen. Het heeft gezellige winkelstraten en Marktplein. Het is prachtig gelegen, heel groen, de nieuwere gedeelten tegen de heuvels aan.
    Er zijn op ongeveer 10 minuten loopafstand 2 supermarkten naast elkaar, "Rewe" waar we alleen geweest zijn en "Netto". Keus genoeg aan restaurants. Je kunt een bootje huren (kajak). Er is bos. Je hebt de rivieren de Lahn en de Aar en Fachwerkhuizen. Ook is er Oraniënstein, een paleis, maar dit is vanbuiten af moeilijk te zien. Genoeg winkels. Je kunt fietsen huren, ook e-bikes. Het heeft een station (al moet het stationsgebouw wel opgeknapt worden).

    Al met al een sfeervolle omgeving.”
