“In Elsdorf - Westermühlen is alleen een kleine supermarkt. Een Grieks en Thais restaurant. Verder niets te beleven. In Hamdorf (paar km afstand) was een prima restaurant!

Wij gingen er vooral naar toe om te fietsen langs het Nord-Ostseekanal. En dat was zeer de moeite waard. Je ziet er de mooiste cruiseschepen (wel van tevoren kijken wanneer er eentje langskomt) en gigantische containerschepen. Kiel is een interessante stad.”
