    “The village is quite pretty and the bay very popular with locals and tourists and attracts a lot of boats which are lovely to see. There is a small but useful shop an ATM and plenty of restaurants to suit all pockets. The locals are very friendly and you can get by in English. The roads are not fo the faint hearted pedestrian but drivers know how to negotiate them reasonably. There are several paths that will keep you off the roads up to Olgas store and the cafe and the path to the baia di leranto cove which is worth the early morning walk but reasonably challenging. Also you can walk to the top of the mountain and round to the village and back again. We've had a great stay.”

    “There are plenty of shopping opportunities in the surrounding area however we were disappointed that local markets were not sign posted and accessible. The food was very similar in all restaurants but standards varied. For example we ate at a Michelin rated restaurant in Sant Agata where the food was tremendous and reasonably priced. Nevertheless if pasta and pizza are not your favourite dishes then you will struggle here. Furthermore every road is extremely narrow and it is difficult in built up areas to stay on track. As a result we ended up in a precarious situation where we were trapped in our car in a very narrow road unable to leave as there was not enough room to open the car doors.”
