    “Der Ort Quern selbst ist ein recht ruhiges Dorf mit wenig eigenen "Attraktionen". Das Besondere hier ist die Ruhe und Abgelegenheit. Die Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf (Supermarkt, Bank, Bäcker, Tankstelle) findet man in der näheren Umgebung in ca. 3-4 km Entfernung.

    Geografisch liegt Quern sehr günstig. In nur 12 km Entfernung liegt Langballigau, ein kleiner Küstenort mit Hafen, Strand und guten Restaurants. Flensburg nördlich und Kappeln südlich sind nur rund 25 km entfernt und schöne Ausflugsziele. Aus unserer Sicht ist der Ort Quern daher nahezu perfekt. Im Ferienhaus und naher Umgebung sehr ruhig und erholsam, dennoch nur kurze Entfernungen zu Städten mit etwas mehr "Action".”
