    “Eldorado für Wanderer (für Große und Kleine, erfahrene und neulinge). Einkehr etwas beschränkt. Jedoch für jeden Geldbeutel ist etwas dabei. Ein Ort weiter (Todtmoos) ist mehr Gastronomie vorhanden. Es gibt einen Dorfladen, dort bekommt man das Nötigste und vor allen Dingen aus der Region. Eine Bank, 1.Tür Volksbank, 2.Tür Kreissparkasse (witzig). Ein Käserei (selbstgemachter Käse und Jogurt),eine ev. Kirche, 14-tägig Gottesdienst. In der näheren oder ferneren Umgebung gibt es viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zum Beispiel Basel - mit dem Auto nach Schopfheim, dann mit einer Tageskarte mit der Straßenbahn (2 x stündlich) in die Schweiz. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, aber nur mit Auto!”
