    “Ligging zeer aangenaam, in Excideuil een grote supermarkt ( ± 15 min).
    Voor de toeristisch uitstappen misschien iets minder gunstig, de mooiste stadjes liggen nogal veraf, alhoewel Perigueux en Brantome op een uurtje kunnen bereikt worden.
    Sarlat le Canéda is iets verder (± 1,25 uur) maar loont de moeite = een daguitstap.

    De Perigord is een mooie streek en loont de moeite.
    Restaurant: enkel "La Truffe" in Sorge ligt dichtbij maar scoort gastronomisch zeer hoog.”
